The biggest city in South America and one of the three largest in the world, São Paulo is considered one of Latin America's most important industrial and financial centers. It is the industrial center of Brazil, responsible for over 30% of Brazil's annual GNP and headquarters to the majority of Brazilian and multinational corporations.

Strong industrial development and cultural diversity have provided São Paulo with the largest, most cultured and educated middle class in Brazil. São Paulo can be an intimidating place, but if you like big cities, it offers the excitement and nightlife of one of the worlds most dynamic places.

The school is located in Perdizes, on the city's west side, and is one of the most populated districts in São Paulo, with 104,000 inhabitants.
Our school offers group general language instruction, from absolute beginner to advanced levels. Portuguese language exam preparatory courses are also available.

Courses are focused on conversation, though there may be some writing assingments to be completed at home. Approximately 95% of the class is conducted in Portuguese. The teachers use modern teaching materials and equipment. Computers, CDs and video are among the aids used in everyday courses as well as sessions devoted to culture, regional studies, literature and business. Use of the multimedia library and the computer facilities is a good way of adding to and reinforcing the skills acquired in class work.

Accommodation in a Brazilian host family (FAM) in single rooms (SR) with half board (HB) is included in the course fees. We ensure that each family offers a quality living situation and respects each student’s wishes.

The host families themselves are experienced and enthusiastic participants in the student´s experience. Living with a host family gives you the most intense immersion into the life, culture and language of Brazil; It’s truly an irreplaceable experience. All families are an average of 10 to 20 minutes away from the school. The school can be easily reached by public transportation.

We believe that a language program must be complemented with a wide range of social and cultural activities not only to allow you to use and practice the Portuguese language but also to maximize your exposure to Brazilian and Portuguese culture.
Our school has an active and exciting social program. You will have the opportunity to visit theatres, concerts, restaurants, beaches as well as other events such as national festivals, sporting events and dance clubs. Activities are arranged at least twice a week.

Other attractions in the area worth seeing include the baroque Teatro Municipal, Niemeyers Edificio Copan, the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) or the 16th-century Patío do Colégio. The coastline, which is only 80 km away, is graced with many lovely beaches such as Guarujá.
