Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is located 2.850 m above sea level and is a real treasure of colonial architecture. Its location at the foot of the Pinchincha Volcano creates a powerful impression on each traveller. The streets of the Old Town, declared a world cultural heritage site in 1978, are lively and colorful with numerous old monasteries, colonial houses and churches.

The new part of Quito, located west of the old district, with its wide boulevards, modern buildings, offices, shopping centres and stores, offers the traveller much to explore.

The school has a central location in the modern part of the capital Quito. The building offers a magnificent view of the whole city and its spacious and light rooms provide an optimal learning environment. On our terraces and in our garden students can enjoy their breaks or even take their classes outdoors if they wish. t

All Spanish courses are held in separate class rooms and each class last for a full 60 minutes.
All of the teachers have completed university degrees and have extensive experience at teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Continuous training further guarantees our teachers' expertise and therefore optimal learning success.


For the better understanding of the Ecuadorian culture, we regularly offer (twice a week), amongst others, the following activities:

Initial sightseeing tour in Quito
Dance classes
Joint cooking of ecuadorian dishes
Discussion rounds, talks and documentaries
Stage scenes of famous plays
Fiestas with teachers, students, friends and families

During the course you will stay with Ecuadorian family (FAM), carefully selected for their kindness, cordiality, and hospitality. Lodging includes a private room (SR).
Half board (HB) or Full Board (FB) is included in the course fees and bedlinen will be provided free of charge.
All this leads the student into a total Spanish comprehension and an overall view of the Ecuadorian culture.

Quito itself has numerous touristic attractions: You can take a stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town, visit the beautiful preserved colonial-era alley of La Ronda or enjoy in a sidewalk-café the hustle and bustle of the Avenida Amazonas, the showpiece street of modern Quito. Since Ecuador is a very small country, you can reach within only a few hours the palm-fringed beaches of the pacific, the snow-capped volcanoes or the steaming jungle on the eastern slopes of the Andes. And don´t forget to visit the Monumento Mitad del mundo where you walk on a red line which marks the equator!
